My experience at Everglades National Park was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the diverse ecosystem that is home to numerous rare and endangered species.

Experiencing it from an airboat was amazing as we saw alligators, turtles and a variety of birds that only exist there.
The guide on our tour told us so much about the wildlife in the area that it was very entertaining and interesting the whole time.
The wildlife show was also unforgettable. It showed us Native American alligator fighting techniques and gave us an insight into the culture of the region. Seeing these ancient techniques up close was incredibly cool! We learned how they catch the alligators with their bare hands and how they keep them away from areas where humans are present.
All in all, my visit to Everglades National Park was one of the most incredible experiences I’ve ever had. Not only did I learn so much about this unique environment, but I also witnessed ancient skills up close that are still practiced today – making this place a very special experience.
